Hey guys,

I’ll bet many of you are getting pretty fired up about now for Google I/O. To help you get even more fired up, GetJar has launched a special promo which is basically if you upload any smartphone app to our store (not just an Android app since we’re totally cross platform as you might know) you could…

Win a ticket to Google I/O and flights and accommodation for 2 days on us! For more info visit: GetJar Developer Promo

How?

•Visit developer.getjar.com
•Click “Sign Me up!”
•Once in your account select “Add new app” from the Publishing drop down menu
•Upload your app to our system and email us at publish"at"getjar.com with with your product ID (appears next to your app in your account listing) with the words "Google IO"

OK what’s the catch? ☺

•No catch. Creating an account, uploading and distributing your Android apps is 100% free on GetJar (or you can firebomb my house)
•Approval takes about 48 hours
•No testing is required
•Submit as many apps as you like

No catch but if you want even more downloads…

•Over 90% of our developers just use GetJar’s free tools and that’s cool
•But we have to eat too ;)
•So for those of you who want more downloads you can use our Pay-Per-Download service. Think Ad sense for apps. You bid, get premium visibility but only pay for the downloads you get.
o You can target by region, OS and even device
o And this month you can target by carrier as well!

•Make sure to bookmark our blog for case studies, stats, charts and lots of free stuff to help you make money from your apps: Developer Blog

Take it easy and look forward to seeing your apps!
