Recently graduated with a master's degree in mathematics but I have been programming in ruby for a while now. I'm looking to leverage my ruby experience and theoretical skills from mathematics to learn rails and other web technologies.

pastie.org - it's a nice little app that does one thing extremely well.
For programming I would say "JavaScript: The Good Parts" and "Programming Ruby 1.9". For non-technical stuff I enjoy reading introductory stuff in neuroscience, psychology, evolution, sociology and anything else related to the human condition.
