Best part was networking at the pre-party. The actual event had too many speakers and ran too long and late. I would have preferred hearing more experiences from LA companies versus talks from vendors. -

Had a good experience. I (and it seems others) were expecting actual presentations. The organizers made a few unsuccessful attempts at getting the groups attention. Playing with the clubs lighting should have done the trick. I enjoyed speaking the the sponsors and the people I met - so overall a successful meet-up! -
Thanks for organizing the event. Several people that I spoke with agreed that the music was too loud to have meaningful conversations. -

It was extremely hard to hold a conversation for more then 15 seconds. I could barely even hear myself and had to literally yell at people so they could hear me. -
Great Croud and energy, unfortunately the music was much too loud and the venue to small. people couldn't hold group conversations. the organizer didn't know if it should be a Club Experience where the music is up or a Networking event where startups could learn from each other and pitch their services. Good intentions but poorly executed. Hopefully next time the kinks get ironed out. -

Music was way too loud, demoing companies should have had a chance to speak about their products. Too many people, keynote speaker couldn't even get people to shush. I saw the valiant efforts made to quiet the crowd, but to no avail. That said, had a great time. -

The venue was too small for the amount of people that showed, we also got asked to leave the salsa area, making it crazy. Good group though. -
Good turn out. Unfortunately, the venue was too small for the number of people there and it was also loud which made it hard to have conversations. -
This was in incredible event...Reminded me of how things were when I lived through the last tech boom in Silicon Valley..All sorts of positive, creative people attempting to make a difference....I hope to work with one of these firms in the near future ! Thanks for organzing !— Passion

While it was very nice to meet people doing interesting startupy things, I was disappointed to see disproportionally more people looking for employees than people looking for work. In addition, the venue was too small for the number of people invited, and a bit awkwardly arranged. In the future I would love to see more clear delineation between startups and people looking to work there, a bigger (and thus slightly quieter) venue, and perhaps even a focus on one or another subset of employees (i.e. a "business dev / legal" focus, a "developer" focus, a "design/UX" focus, etc) to narrow down the types of people who participate. -
I really enjoyed this meetup, met, lots of interesting people, interesting conversations and had fun. -
great job William. Good people. Heavy on the recruiter side a bit. Need to get the word out to developer circles/mailing lists and business/marketing professionals more next time. All in all, excellent event. Great turn out. Fantastic people.— bashir E
